Each pair is set in nickel-free 925 sterling silver, optionally finished in 18k gold — an 18k gold finish, not solid gold. Sterling silver is 92.5% pure silver, and when it's nickel-free it's a genuinely hypoallergenic base — safe for sensitive ears, with no green marks.

A note on labels: 'hypoallergenic' is not a regulated term, so verifying nickel-free metal matters more than the claim. Beyond the safe metal, Satéur Gems® rate ~9.25 on the Mohs scale and grade Color D–E, reading as fine diamonds to the naked eye, across the table.
