The Fake Diamond Edit

A fake diamond bracelet is a wrist piece set with diamond simulants — stones engineered to replicate the optical appearance of mined diamonds — worn as a fine-jewellery alternative at a fraction of the cost.

At Satéur, a fake diamond bracelet is measured by one standard: does it look like the real thing across the table? Our bracelet collection — from $98 — is set with Satéur Gems®, a trademarked diamond simulant graded D–E colour with an Excellent cut. The clean, white brilliance reads as a flawless diamond to the naked eye, at roughly 1% of the price of an equivalent mined diamond bracelet.

The range covers every wrist and every occasion. The Satéur Élégante Bracelet™ ($98) is a precise, understated everyday design. The Satéur Destinée Secrète Bracelet™ ($168) and Satéur Destinée Bracelet™ ($298) deliver the continuous-stone tennis bracelet silhouette — one of the most recognised and versatile styles in fine jewellery. At the top of the range, the Satéur Promesse™, L'ovale™, and Coffre au Trésor™ (each $368) carry more significant stone presence for milestone occasions and gifting.

The material choice matters on a diamond simulant bracelet. Standard cubic zirconia clouds and scratches with daily contact, losing its surface brilliance within months. Unlike CZ, every Satéur stone stays brilliant for life. Satéur Gems® delivers the diamond-accurate look — the restrained, white brilliance that makes a fine diamond bracelet so compelling. Our moissanite tier, with its vivid rainbow-forward sparkle, is available for those who prefer more fire. Both tiers are built for everyday wear and hold their clarity under normal conditions.

All bracelets are set in sterling silver (925) with an 18k gold finish — not plated over base metal, not marketed as solid gold, simply finished to the standard the stones deserve. The bracelet sits at approximately 7 inches on the wrist, with a secure clasp designed for daily use. Gold plated, white gold, and silver finishes are all represented across the six designs, giving a range of metal looks within a single coherent collection.

Questions

Fake Diamond Bracelet, answered.

What is a tennis bracelet?+
A tennis bracelet is a flexible, continuous-line bracelet featuring a row of evenly set gemstones that runs the full length of the piece. It became widely known after a high-profile incident at the 1987 US Open tennis championships and has since become one of the most enduring fine-jewellery silhouettes. Satéur's Destinée Bracelet™ and Destinée Secrète Bracelet™ are both built in this style.
How do diamond simulants compare to mined diamonds in appearance?+
The best diamond simulants are graded to the same colour and cut parameters used for mined diamonds — D–E colour and Excellent cut — which means they deliver comparable light return and brilliance. Satéur Gems® in particular are designed for diamond-accurate optical performance: the clean, white brilliance of a flawless diamond rather than coloured or rainbow dispersion. To the naked eye and across the table, a well-set Satéur Gems® bracelet reads as a mined diamond bracelet.
What metal options are available for diamond simulant bracelets?+
Satéur bracelets are set in sterling silver (925) with an 18k gold finish. This gives a white-gold appearance that complements D–E colour stones. The sterling silver base — not a base metal alloy — ensures structural integrity across years of daily wear. All six bracelet designs use this setting; no current designs use yellow gold or rose gold plating, though the 18k finish reads as a warm white-gold tone.
How should I clean and maintain my diamond simulant bracelet?+
Rinse with warm water to remove salt, chlorine, or cosmetic residue after exposure. Clean with a soft-bristle brush and mild soap solution, then dry thoroughly with a lint-free cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaning products and ultrasonic machines on plated settings. Satéur Gems® and moissanite will not cloud or scratch from this routine — their optical clarity is not surface-dependent, unlike cubic zirconia, which degrades with the same care.
Are diamond simulant bracelets suitable for daily wear?+
Yes, provided the stones are not standard cubic zirconia. CZ is a soft material (approximately 8–8.5 Mohs) that clouds and loses surface brilliance under daily contact with water, soap, and cosmetics. Satéur Gems® and our moissanite tier are both extremely durable and hold their brilliance for life under normal wearing conditions. Satéur's sterling silver settings are designed for the same — the 18k finish maintains its appearance with simple, periodic cleaning.
What is the difference between a diamond simulant and other gemstone alternatives?+
Diamond simulants are stones engineered specifically to replicate the visual appearance of a mined diamond — D–E colour, high refractive index, colourless brilliance. Cubic zirconia is the most widely available simulant but clouds rapidly with wear. Satéur Gems® is a trademarked simulant engineered for diamond-accurate optical performance with lasting durability. Moissanite is a lab-created gemstone with higher dispersion (more rainbow fire) than a diamond — a distinct and vivid look rather than a diamond replica. Coloured gemstones such as sapphire or emerald are not simulants at all; they are separate stone families with different optical properties.
